I was working on a custom pet portrait of a cat, and listening to “Reckless Love” by Cory Asbury (on repeat) when I had to put that down to draw this piece. Some people ask if it is an abstract of an animal, or something else. What I think it is is not as important as what is means to you.

The story behind this series: This was the first arcade game I ever played as a kid. I can still feel the joystick in my hand and hear the sounds of the game in my head. The memories of simpler times make me smile.
